Yes, if the men can follow up what the girls did, they'll be in good shape at 4-3 in conference, with some really terrible teams coming up the next two weeks. The guys really need at least 4 of these next 5 IMO if they are going to finish over .500 in conference, because that 2nd swing through the East Division is going to be ridiculously tough.

up 49-45 with 12 minutes left...we went on a big run to start the half but they already have 5 or 6 fouls this half and OP has three....so frustrating

BG Wins!! 69-61 victory on the road...not really a strong showing by BG and the 5-14 on free throws by NIU ended up being pretty important, but a win is a win.

I'll take it. A good job of toughing out a win after NIU came back and tied it. Three in a row!

Oh, and Balls Tate beat OU today. Which is nice.

Two in a row on the road. For this team, that's huge. Headed in the right direction.

Nice road win for the falcon men, now lets build on that. Something odd though, box score says NIU had 3,215 in attendance. That can't be right. NIU horrible vs BG so-so at at best. If true than that's a little embarrassing that we can't get more than 1300 for a Mac leader OU at home. :?

"Saturday is TCF Bank Faculty/Staff Day. All NIU faculty and staff receive four complimentary tickets by responding to [email protected]. In addition to the basketball games, the Huskie Athletic Scholarship Fund will host the 2009 HASF Kick-Off from 3-4 p.m. in Victor E. Court."

They had a booster drive between games and tickets for the women's game were good for the men's game.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It was Scout Day at the Q~! The Freaklings got to skate on the Q ice, shoot hoops in the Cavs practice area and we saw a great hockey game won by Lake Erie, 3-1. And the attendance was over 12,000!

Vdub,
Sorry about that! Mrs. Freak is going to ask if she can get the company loge for the 2/27 game. My BD is the 26th so that would be cool. Let me see if she can get the loge and a couple extra tix!

BTW, saw many BGSU shirts and hoodies...I represented. Sure there were tons of people wearing OSWHo shirts but BG was WELL represented. THAT warms my heart. :D
