Just heard Coach Jackson in the postgame and he mentioned Knight was injured but didn't say what it was or how serious it was. I guess we'll know more when they get back to town.....

Has anyone heard anything further on Chris Knight's injury? Anyone know if he tore something in his knee or if it's something he's going to be able to come back from? Knight is my favorite player on the team, I'm hopeful he'll sit the Canisius game out and be back in action for the rest of the season. Any info would be much appreciated.

X-rays negative. Needs a weeks rest, will sit the Canisius game and be back for Kent.

He is not out for the year. But won't be surprised if Coach Orr goes easy on him the next few games to get ready for the tournament.

Coach said "week to week" in the post-game.

Right now we're really hurting with depth up front. Remember all that depth we had in the preseason on paper? Well, Madlock never got on the floor and is gone, Larson is out for the year, and now Knight is on the bench with an injury himself and in our last game we were down to nine players dressing out. Here's what Nate Miller had to say about this game without Knight:

"Big time it hurt," Miller said of Knight's absence. "I'm down there fighting for my life, but, hey, I'm only 6-4 and these guys were pretty tall. We were limited."

Miller had 22 points and 13 rebounds. I would love to see his stats from that game WITH Knight.
