I don't know if it's anyone associated with the board that was involved, but whoever brought the group of about 8 kids to the game who screamed all day for BG deserve to be commended.
To be honest, when a row of 7-10ish year olds started making their way up by where my wife and I were sitting, we started scoping out other seats. But they immediately sat down (with BG shirts on!) and started screaming, clapping and chanting for BG, either going along with the cheerleaders or starting on their own. I saw they moved down closer for the second half, but were still into the game and clapping and yelling for BG. That was very cool to see! Good job!

going to be honest at first when they moved down closer to the court i was like geez these kids are going to just yell like the girls did the other day about not being able to see, but I also enjoyed cheering with them, and yelling. There were times when I was getting upset with the game and they got me to yell and cheer with them...
hope they come back again!

Big time thanks to those kids. They were trying to get the wave going, but most of the other fans were indifferent. Those youngsters were cheering harder than 99% of the crowd. I would love for BG to have fans like those representing them in the future as students. They were even standing!
