SUNDAY Radio Coverage

If you can let the fine followers of Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba know the following, I would appreciate it. SUNDAY's radio broadcast of the men's basketball game at Akron will be broadcast on WFRO 99.1 FM. However, due to the time change because it is a FSN Ohio broadcast game (moving from 2 p.m. to noon), there will be no pregame as WFRO has church programming scheduled from 11-noon. So if folks tune in to listen to the game early, hang in there as it will be coming on right at noon.

Shouldn't that read "Sunday" rather than "Saturday"?

Isn't the Akron game on Sunday 3/1?

Corrections made... the game IS on Sunday, hence the church programming.

I thought it was a Jewish service and didn't think anything of it.

This whole Men's basketball radio season has been a HUGE bust. Stations announced, stations dark, UT Women, HS Basketball, NASCAR races, and just plain no coverage anywhere in NW Ohio.
It might be wiise to couple a LP FM transmitter to WBGU-FM and at least broadcast the web feed to Bowling Green so we can hear the game in the parking lot or vehicle leaving the game. Then again, maybe 10 watts won't make it from the Admin bldg to the Stroh Center

I have only been able to listen to one game this entire season on 99.1
I have been unhappy at best with our coverage.

Hey no problem Hoops---since the broadcast time/info is for the
Men's Hoops game, I thought it would be appropriate to post in the
Men's Hoops forum. I'm just trying to get RSO's name out there. I don't think there is anything wrong with that, and it does not show my ignorance about where to post. I'm not an idiot. Go Falcons!
