Kent State suspended MAC Honorable Mention forward Chris Singletary for their first round game with Northern Illinois tomorrow. He threw a punch at Akron's Nate Linhart in Sunday's game.
Plain Dealer's Bill Livingston has an article on it below.

Who in their right mind would have fouled Jamie Bosley hard? The guy looked like he was built from piles of cannonballs. Much better to punch Linhart I think, although he's got a reach advantage on Singletary.

Meh. Is this really a punishment? Kent wins that game if I start for Singletary (I got skilz, baby). Just seems hollow to me.

I saw the video- pretty ugly but not worthy of more than a one gamer, if that, IMO.

I think one game is reasonable.

It would take Singletary one landed punch and Nate Linhart would be a pile of bones on the floor. Pick up sticks. And with a mug like Linhart's, a shot the face would probably make an improvement.
