Some Info on Stroh

I talked with Greg Christopher tonight about the Stroh Center, and I asked him a couple of questions, but the most interesting thing he said was when I asked him if they were going to continue the most unique part of Anderson Arena, the ability for fans to literally stand on the sidelines, at the Stroh Center. His answer was that the goal for the Stroh Center was to have it designed to foster a HUGE home-court advantage. It seemed that he confirmed that, as well as saying that they had done studies to determine which seating materials would create the loudest possible environment. It sounds like they are really going all out for it. Van Wright also told me that Kerm Stroh said only one thing about what he wanted for the Stroh Center. "Remember the students."

Nope. West of I-75, on top of the parking lots southwest of the Doyt.

The east thing made absolutely no sense but I liked the idea a lot for that very reason.

Here, let us put in terms which fans of Tom Amstutz will understand instantly:
It is across the street from Waffle House.

For the Brandon fans that would be about a mile east of the jail?

In other words they can't look at the website and figure out what all those numbers mean.
