BG vs. Bradley Play of the Game
9:50 to go in the second half. Following a Steven Wright pass into traffic in the middle of the lane that resulted in a turnover and fastbreak for Bradley, John Floyd dives from behind the Bradley player at about the foul line to knock the ball out of bounds. That's hustle, baby. This team has that this year.

Floyd really distributes the ball well and Robinson is good at getting in the lane for his size. I couldn't believe how many rebounds he got and how many times he was around the ball making something happen. This team is fun to watch and deserves to have good fan support. I hope when the students get back into town they realize how hard this team plays and how good they can be.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the play of Floyd so well, right now. He runs the offense very well, and as someone else noted he knows when to push and when to slow up the offense. In the long run I'd rather Robinson out there, but right now Floyd is just better. I still think that Floyd will get schooled against a good, athletic PG, but for right now he's playing pretty well.
Robinson is just quick as hell. He plays a touch out of control at times, but I think by the end of the season he'll be starting. I was disappointed in the minutes that Vandermeer played today. That kid can flat out ball. That freshman for Bradley was huge, and I think would've been a good matchup for Vandermeer. IMO, Almanson is better off at the 4, and let Vandermeer play the 5.

Steven Wright looks so much more comfortable playing off the ball than he did trying to run the point. He's much more willing to work within the offense than last year's 2 guard. I really like John Floyd's game. I saw him play a number of times when he was in High School. I was dissapointed when he signed with Oakland because I thought he could compete in a higher league.
I would have liked to have seen a little more of Vandermeer also. He looks like he's going to tough to defend. He's got some nice moves in the low post and he looks very comfortable stepping out and facing the basket.
