In reading that I was surprised that Kent didn't have any interest in him, only because thats where he is from, and if other top MAC schools like us and Akron wanted him you would think they would. Anyway great pickup by Coach Orr, just what we needed with OP and Marc being seniors

Does anyone know if Kent or Akron were recruiting this guy? If so, it just goes to show that Orr is truly dedicated to recruiting Ohio the way it lacked in the past. I really hope that this was a steal from one of the other schools. That would make it very, very sweet.

Make sure to check out the 2008-09 Junior year highlights. This kid looks good...nice mid-range and in jumper. He has more post moves than OP NOW IMO. This has makings of GREAT recruit for BG. The "Stroh effect" already??

Good athlete for 6-9. Good timing on his blocks. Nice touch around the basket. Will become a threat further from the basket. Can pass and dribble. Has developed some post moves. With added upper body strength, he could be a good inside scorer. I see him in the rotation as a freshman. Good recruit. Will be better as a freshman then OP or ML were.
