Falcons Complete Schedule With Addition Of Two Games
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University has announced an update to its 2009-10 men’s basketball schedule with the addition of two non-conference games and a date change for another. As well, start times have been announced for a number of contests.
Bowling Green has added a road game at Iowa Nov. 20 and a home game with Florida International, coached by Isiah Thomas, Nov. 30. As well, the Falcons’ home game with Wisconsin-Milwaukee has been moved to Nov. 28.
The additional contests completes Bowling Green’s 29-game slate with 14 home games. The Falcons host Wayne State, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Florida International, Savannah State, and St. Louis in non-conference games, as well as hosting an ESPNU BracketBusters game Feb. 20.
(I've updated the online iCal)

I like the addition of both of these games. Another home game and a matchup with a Big Ten school.

ISAIH THOMAS IS COMING TO ANDERSON ARENA!?!?!? That is freaking awesome...can you say "Exposure?" That game will definitely be picked up by ESPN...I bet most of FIU's games will be for that matter. SWEET!

I'd have to agree, at least on the U...

I'd be shocked if it gets picked up on anything. Unless it's FIU's first game or there is ABSOLUTELY nothing going on that day (which is possible, I guess, being a Monday in November). It's not like it's Bob Knight or Michael Jordan coaching.
As to the original topic of the thread, I like the additions. In all, it might be one of the more impressive all-around schedules we've had in years.

I have to agree with TG1996 -- I don't see this one being on the WWL or its family of networks. There will be TV cameras in Anderson Arena for that game, but they'll say 'BCSN' on them.
That having been said, I'm glad this game was scheduled. A non-conference home game is always welcome, especially when it comes against a team with a borderline-incompetent coach.

Yeah, Mike Brown is "borderlin" incompetent. Isiah Thomas is downright awful. I bet he's already tried to trade three of his best players for a draft pick.
