Just listened to Todd Walker call the starting lineups. We are much bigger than they are. Big night for Otis?

Ok. BG only committs 2 Fouls. Has 3 turnovers, technically only 2 as one was a charging call and you get charged with a T.O and foul. Regardless we are only up by 2 points against this team. We need to come out and be more aggressive the second half.
Otis only has 2 boards and 4 pts in 12 minutes against this undersized team.
Come On Boys!!

Todd Walker: "it wasn't easy, pretty or smooth" They didn't play very well, but they got the win at home - 59-51. Experience. I'll take it, but when is this team gonna' shoot some free throws...
Anyway...

I don't know much about this team because I haven't seen them play yet this season and they've got lots of new guys in there with our losses in the frontcourt. But I do know this, if our foul shooting does not improve, we are going nowhere in MAC play. We've got talent for sure, and we've got experience at guard and center, which is important, but we're not so good that we can survive despite giving away gobs of free points at the foul line. The better teams, even the middle of the pack teams in the MAC will take advantage of that and beat us in any mildly close game.
They need to be practicing FT's every day. What Orr should do is at the end of practice, he should call out a player, and have them shoot 2. Go through the entire team. On each miss, the whole team sprints down and back. I'd do this every day until I started seeing some results. You're not going to move forward and have a good season without it.
