EMU was up by a lot, Marshall stormed back, but EMU hangs on for two-point win - 90-88.

I was there 33 doing a little advanced scouting. Actually, I try to go to about 2 or 3 EMU games a year just to see the MAC teams. I actually thought this was going to be a blowout most of the game. Marshall couldn't hit for most of the game and Eastern was way too quick for them but things changed after EMU had a 17 point lead with about 6:00 to go. Marshall was hitting the boards strong all night and had a number of followups. Also, EMU started clanking FT after FT and even air mailed one. But Darryl Garret a good looking Frosh from Detroit Denby hit a big 3 and the Hurons hung on as Marshall missed 3 (3 pointers) in a scramble at the end. Eastern easily looked the best despite the close game. They are quick and relatively deep. Especially with Garret and his HS teammate Rico Harris added to the vet mix. Just my analysis.BGSU33 wrote:EMU was up by a lot, Marshall stormed back, but EMU hangs on for two-point win - 90-88.
