BG Wins on the road!

Great second half for the Falcons, down 9 at the half and come back to out score Eastern by 12 in the second half to win 64-61! Looking forward to an update from someone that was there. Second league road win this year!

Glad I stayed for the second half. I took my youngest 2 daughters and wasn't sure how long they'd make. Seemed like EMU couldn't miss a 3 for the first 3/4 of the game. Thomas was impressive and I thought Crawford really brought some energy to get the team going. Crowd was horribly small but I had a good time, hadn't seen a BG game since they went to Morehead for the bracketbuster game.

Scott Thomas, again, just putting the rest of the team on his back and willing us to victory! Fun to listen to Eastern's announcers as Thomas was putting them away.

Last time we were there my daughter, in full Rocket regalia, scored an Eastern T-shirt thrown by a cheerleader because there were no Eastern fans on our side of the arena to throw it too. Very sad- Eatern and KEnt are year in and year out the top MAC schools athletically, yet can't draw in the revenue sports.

Finally finally FINALLY renewed my BGSU fandom membership card by getting out to this one.
Fantastic effort and a hell of a comeback (despite some homer calls in the second half), but I would never trust Otis Polk with my fine china.
UT will get murdered on Monday.

I was there. The EMU crowd was much larger and louder than the last time we were there. Four players in double figures and JoJak missed it by one. Balanced scoring.
Unfortunately, I couldn't see all of the game, but I can tell you Coach Orr wore a very nice white shirt because that's all I saw when the ball was on the north end of the court.
EMU has a beautiful facility. More people should go there for games. Plus, popcorn was only 50 cents. I wish BG would take note of that.
