Anthony Stacey in motorcycle accident

Stacey is home recovering now after a pretty serious motorcycle accident left him with 50 staples in his head. I just found out about this news today.

I'll try to find a way to get cards to him...for now, if you have a card, or a well-wish, post it here. I'll be sure he gets it somehow.

Sheesh!!!! Whats going with BG and the players or former players , all these guys leaving , Floyd is in an accident, now former player Stacy is in one. This is starting to give me the creeps.

Now I don't put any stock in sports curses but this is getting kinda weird ya think? Wait!!!! I think I got it!!!! Its Bush's fault!

Or maybay John Kerry's vist, mmmmm...mmm.

Stacey has always been one of my faves. I loved the times the Akron crowds would tear him apart in the pregame only to see AS light the Zips up for 30 and win the game at the end. Even some of the Akron fans would shake his hand after the game.

Anthony is doing better, recovering at home. He still can't leave the house or anything yet. He gave permission to post his mailing address here, so it would be nice if we could send him a few get-well cards!

I'll be sending him a card and praying for him...

Is it safe to say that he wasn't wearing a helmet? I know they may not seem cool to wear but those things can save a life and a lot of head damage.
