Having not been to a game since the Dakich era when Anderson Arena really rocked back in the days of Keith McCloud what is going on with Attendance and the new coach? Are the students showing up in droves like they used to, where it got so loud in there you could not hear? Is the new Coach liked by the student body? What is the athletic staff doing to attract students to the games? Just curious to see what if anything is being done creativly to get students to the games? Is there a student fan club? Is the athletic department giving away stuff to the students through out the games? Is there cheer sheets out for the students? Do they hit up the cafateria's with table tents and are they advertising in the daily student newspaper to get students out to the game?
Just wondering because when Dakich was there he engaged the students, coming out with his Jacket on backwards, slamming the floor to get the team to play defense and throwing fits on the referres for fun. Does Orr do any of this or does he keep to himself?
Wanted to see what the Athletics department is doing to make it more fun to come to games as well when the team is around .500 or is it the same old same old stuff they have been doing for years?

To answer your question on whether Orr is like Dakich at all, I must say not in the least. Orr's is ten times tamer than DD. He does seem rather more bashful and less rah rah than Dakich was as well. Whether or not Orr engage the students or not I have no idea but it doesn't strike me as something he would do. No , Orr has no antics whether that's good or bad is another thing.

cowboy...Seriously...do you even think before you post this nonsense? Danny boy went 34-54 in the MAC in the five years after he spent a week in West Virginia. He did a lousy job and probably should have been broomed after 2005/2006 when he finished at 9-21 overall. He was allowed to finish out his contract here and he embarrassed the program and the school with that fiasco in Buffalo while doing so.

Face it...he sucked.
