A wise move...it was pretty obvious he wasn't ready to be a head coach...

Before I saw this I was going to respond to the guy who said, in another AZZ thread, he'd never seen a more mediocre or boring team than Orr's by telling him to switch allgiances and come watch UT's team. I guess Mike O'Brian agrees with me.

On 1470, Norm Whiner was already talking about Cross "quitting" and leaving the team in a mess. Yeah, maybe he didn't "quit" exactly :-)

Unless a miracle happens, UT is in trouble for a few years until they get some real players and beat the APR. They need a Curt Miller, but I guess good men players who think they have a future would never go to a MAC school. The beauty of the Women's program is that the recruits have little future in post college play.

Makes ya appreciate an Otis Polk or Eric Marschall or Dee Brown a bit more.

Dakich back to BG...but then we don't want a coach in here that has players quit, transfer, or get caught with marijuana now do we.

I'm sure Norm would love to have Dakich as a regular on the show again...

Can you see the parking lots from the head coaches office at Savage?????

Right...we want to bring back Dan and the 34-54 record he had during his final five years in the conference. That's a great idea...

I'd settle for a Jim Larranaga or pre-WVU Dan Dakich return or most of the teams that played under their tutelage that remotely resembled a competitive and entertaining basketball squad.
