Here's the blog entry on BGSUFalcons.com - http://blog.bgsufalcons.com/
"3 - Speaking of basketball schedules, I've got a men's non-conference schedule sitting in front of me right now. There's still a couple of contracts that have to get the proper signatures before we can release it, but expect that to come out either Friday or next Monday. There's a few new opponents on the slate and, as a teaser, a road game against a Final Four team from a year ago. And that contract is a 2-for-1 meaning that team will come play us in the Stroh Center in 2012. But that's all I can say about that (and maybe more than I should have, but why else would you read all this?)"
I've got a tip as to who it is, and it would be HUGE!!

Wow. That is awesome.
Butler would be a good get, but not HUGE. Any of the other Final 4 teams from last year (Duke especially) would be just an AWESOME get for BG. Especially to bring them into the first season of the Stroh Center! Looking forward to seeing THAT! Can't wait to see the new building full of fans!!

I guess the collar got a little tight on GC with the "Howard" opening game!

Based on Grant's verbiage:
I think a GOOD get is Butler
A VERY GOOD get is WVU
A HUGE get is MSU
An EPIC is Duke
Gotta be the Spartans.

I agree with you across the board on all those points above. Any of those teams would be great to have a 2-for-1 with on the levels you mentioned (good, very good, huge & epic). I too have a feeling it will be MSU. I'm excited to see the rest of the schedule as well.ZuluWarrior wrote:Based on Grant's verbiage:

I'm going with WV. No real reason, just a complete guess.

For the hell of it I'll go with Duke, only because we have hosted Sparty before so we know they would come, it wouldn't be a shocker (even if a former coach said they would never come back), and compared to those two Butler or WVU wouldn't be considered huge
