Does anyone know what color the seats will be in the Stroh Center?

Orange and brown? I was hoping we would mix the colors... blue, orange, yellow, red... you know, to make the place look full.

Thanks, that would be great. Also, do you have any idea what the bleachers are going to look like in terms of the seating surface too? Obviously, the ones in Anderson Arena are wooden, but many of the newer bleachers I have seen have been a plastic-type material. They are almost cupped slighty for each seating spot and I've seen them in various colors. Any idea is we'll be doing the same?

It's my understanding that all the seats in the arena will be individual theatre style seats, no bleachers.

I'm pretty sure the student section will be bleachers.

Drew is correct, based on my talks with Athletic dept and early drawings, all seats will be theatre style except the student section which will be bleachers

Color? Why does it have to be about color?

Which sections are going to be the student sections? I can tell the upper level will have fixed seats on the North, East and South levels (no seats on the upper West level) but it looks like all four directions in the lower level will be bleachers. I assume that all four sections will retract as well. If they all aren't student seating (which I assume they won't be), will there be actual retracting stadium seating in these section as well?

According to the video that was posted in this forum earlier in the week, the students will be in the west "endzone", with the walkway above them.

All of the lower seats will be retractable stadium seats except as correctly pointed out, the student bleachers at the west end. The bleachers will be orange, and the seats will all be brown. As asked, the bleachers will be plastic, and cupped in the student section.

Anyone know how many rows of seats (upper+lower) will be in the Stroh Center?

Not sure on the rows... probably about 25-30 total.

From the architectures drawings on the website total capacities look like:
