Mr. Ribeau is the Prez at Howard, lets give him something to remember BG by!

Losing to the 322nd team in the country (There is 345 teams in D1) is tough to take. However, 1-14 from 3 point land and we won't beat anyone. 1 fast break basket the entire game...is that even possible?

So the offensive woes against Adrian weren't a fluke. This might be a "lock yourself in the gym until you make 100 3's" situation.

On the bright side... Cameron Black started and scored double-figures while pulling down 7 rebounds. Not bad for a freshman debut! A'uston going 1 for 11 though... ouch!

My hopes never deflate! Orange kool-ade flows through these veins! I'm still high on this team and this season, but I DO think it'll take a while to get things rolling.

Shooting 34% overall and 12% from the 3-point line is not a good thing...

Robby Realist sees our running team score 1 fast break point, our new flashy scorer have 4 pts. The things that I was excited to see ended up being offseason rhetoric. Its one game, but its 1 bad game against a bad team.

It is a little scary. I am not sure we have ever found a reliable point guard since Brandon Pardon left this program. I really think that PG play is one of the aspects that has really plagued this program for years. Scoring in the 50's in College Bball rarely gets you a W in today's game; makes me wonder about Orr's Offensive system. Not just last night, but the last few year the offensive ineptitude is pretty clear. Although I must say the Women losing surprised me more.

If we lose and our pg has more than 1 pt, we have more then 1 fast point basket and our new scoring threat scores in double figures then I might be ok. The 2 positives seem to be that Scott Thomas is still pretty darn good and we could have a very nice post Duo of McElroy and Black down the road.

We also did not see Anthony Henderson for even one minute and I know people were very high on him.

And Debbie Downer, too!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
