1 win and that one is over a D2 school. Thats not good. What is good is that Cameron Black had a double double today again and will end up a stud in the MAC.

After today's loss vs Albany they are now 0-6 (I'm not counting a win over a D2 team. It doesn't count towards the RPI). Here are the remaining games with RPI (as of 11/28)
Here is the RPI link-
http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_263_Men.html
@Michigan State (28)
vs WKU (170)
vs FIU (237)
@Wisconsin Milwaukee (234)
vs Manhattan (209)
vs Texas San Antonio (311)
@ St. Louis (307)
BG's RPI 343. It will probably stay the same or go down after the loss today.
The only team I would expect BG to be favored against is Texas San Antonio.
They will get a win somewhere. Right?

Another long year for this program. I knows its easy to criticize when they are down, but I never bought into Orr as the right coach of this program. Its year four and this is his program and players now...not Dakich's. No excuses. He's 47-53.
The program has taken major steps backwards. I never liked the idea of a "retread" coach from a power conference anyway. Give me a young and upcoming assistant coach over one who's failed at one of the so-called "bigger schools" anyday.

Big East Coach of the Year and a couple trips to the dance... that's failure??

I don't really care what he did at Seton Hall. He only won 20 games once and never finished higher than 3rd (when the Big East still had divisions). Going to the dance 2 out of 5 years with lots of mediocrity mixed in isn't something to write home about, either. I wouldn't call him a success or failure.
I do care that he has not upgraded Bowling Green's basketball program. I'm willing to be somewhat patient because he has a good class coming in and recruiting should continue to get better with the Stroh Center. That said, he's been here 3 years and Bowling Green is obviously much, much worse than we he got here. It's going to be a very long year, there are MAYBE a handful of victories out there.

If he hadn't "failed" he'd still be at Seton Hall. I respect him as a person and a man of faith...just not crazy about his coaching abilities.

That is just not a fair statement at all. The program had losing records in 4 of the 5 years before Orr's arrival. A 9-win season was included in that.

Not accurate to say program has regressed since Orr started. Regression started in the Dakich era [post WVU].
I was excited to get Orr to BG. Now, not as much. You would think "year 4" we would be playing at a higher level and growing the program after the Dakich tenure. But it is evident he missed on some recruits [we don't have solid guard play] so the program remains average. Also, I think Orr’s style is much better suited for a veteran team [or a team with strong leaders] as outwardly he doesn’t appear to be a strong communicator. That Duquesne game was a bad sign.
To balance, it seems like we’ve taken steps forward this weekend. Also, it appears his recruiting in the last year or so has been solid [Cam Black could be a special player] and next year’s class should produce a stud guard. If Orr can continue to recruit at a high level, most of these issues go away and we all will be happy again very soon. Talk of making a coaching change is still a little premature. Let this season play out.

Coach Orr left Seton Hall on his own. Plus, a MAC title in his first four years is quickly forgotten. Coach Orr is the man for this position.

No he was fired after the 05-06 season. Had he left on his own, why would have sat out a year only to end up at a MAC school. Had he left on his own, it probably would have been for a better job for the next season, not to sit out a year

Left on his own? He left on his own as much as Dan Dakich or Gregg Brandon left on their own. The Duquesne game said alot about the state of the program. It was a high school like atmosphere, where a team was getting rolled over on its' own court, and had very little fight. I can't remember a time in 25+ years of watching BG hoops, where the program seemed less relevant. I also have never seen a team shoot less than 25% percent from three point range over 7 games. I'm just hoping for some drastic improvement as the season rolls along.

He left because the Seton Hall administration had a different philosophy on how the coach should spend his free time. So, if he was fired, it wasn't because of his coaching performance, it was extinuating circumstances, i.e. not wanting to "hit the town" with alumni after games, but instead wanting to go home to his family.

I will sum it up in 5 words on why he was dismissed on different philosophical reason. But do not go off commenrting on my post. Those 5 words be: 'To GOD by the Glory'

At least get your inaccuracy correct - "To God be the Glory."
His recruitment philosophy got him into trouble. He didn't recruit the east coast kids like the administration felt he should. His professing his faith was not the reason a small Catholic university released their head basketball coach.

We gotta pick it up, this team has some good athletes, but lacks shooters. I know Scott Thomas can shoot that ball and i hope he improves over the course of the season. We also need some slashers and that means calhoun, sealey, and brown need to take that ball to the rack and finish!!! That has yet to be seen though, so right now we gotta sit through the pathetic play and hope we improve, aight lets go falcons
