While it would have been nice for MSU to stay in a funk and shoot 25% for the entire game, it wasn't realistic. The fact that BG had MSU after their Duke game was the only positive coming in and it really couldn't matter. We are HORRIBLE!

He's the only tough guy we have inside. Black is too young right now but will be a factor as the year goes on. Are shooting is worst than bad. Joe Jak is he done now? Getting very few minutes.

Watching the game as we speak. Starting to think we are just really badly coached. Not saying we should be playing anywhere near MSU but we just are not active enough and don't seem fundamentally sound. Its almost like we have 5 guys playing a pickup game out there. Our offense is bad. We jut stand around and watch whoever has the basketball.

What I do like is what I said earlier. Crawford, Thomas, Black all will be very good in the MAC.

Anybody that seriously thinks that this team is going to magically start beating teams in MAC play is going to be very dissapointed when we inevitably start dropping games against Kent, Miami, EMU, etc. 4-12 at best, and that's being generous. They can't score, period. If you have a team that makes putting the ball in the basket this much of a chore, it almost doesn't matter whether you can do everything else right, which we don't. We don't rebound, we don't defend particularly well, we commit too many turnovers, we don't have a go-to offensive threat, etc. It's downright painful to watch this team.

I know some people, like Grant, can have optimism despite all this, but I'm not that person. This is BAD.

I don't think you could have optimism with a bagful of money and an open candy store. But we've been over that already.

We all want BG to win every game in every sport, but it's obvious that's not going to happen. Some people can enjoy the times watching our school play and, annoyingly frustrating as it may be, finding things that could give a glimpse at a positive future. Certainly not something worth taking shots at.

In track what they do is train you so that you are peaking at the national or conference championship meets. Lets hope that this is the case and this is all strategic planning focused on having a cohesive team with defined roles at the start of MAC play.

From watching this game and some of his earlier rotations if this is not what he is doing then he is just throwing #### against the wall and hoping something sticks.
