I am predicting a triple double tonight for Thomas. HE has 4-3 and 1 right now.

The only triple-double that kid will ever see is at Howards or at his own bachelor's party.
:D

I wasn't there, but the stats look good. All 10 who players who got in the game for BG scored. They shot better than 50% for the fourth straight game and forced 20 turnovers for the second straight game. 70-59 could have been an even bigger margin if the guards had done better than 7/15 on FTs. Now, let's get a road win.

I have no idea what either of those things are but I want to learn.

Also we won!. He ended with a double double. Any input from people at the game?

Great to see another win! UTSA came into the game at 6-4 so it appears they are a decent team. Falcons play at St Louis tomorrow at 4.

GO BG!!

This team is coming around. Still rough edges but they are working together and shooting much better. Except for the foul shooting things are much improved. Joe had a good game and Jordan livens things up. Their different styles kept USTA off balance defensively. Coming back strong after giving up a 14-point lead was also a good sign. But it would be nice to develop a killer instinct. Could be an interesting MAC season.
Also Coach Clawson and his youngsters were in the crowd.

I drove over from the Cleveland area last night to check out the game. I came away with a very good feeling about this team. If you have not seen a game this year [or since the Duquesne game], I urge you to go check them out. They are fun to watch.

What I love most about this team is they are hustling and playing hard. That zone D is smothering. As a team we have a lot of energy and based on last night we are DEEP with that energy as 10 people played and all contributed both on offense and defense. The UTSA team was gassed in the last 5 minutes and we were still running around like crazed animals. I see a MAC run coming because of that depth and energy… and shots are falling now - congrats to Joe Jaku - he played like a senior and drilled some deep, deep threes when needed.

Other good signs were the team seems very close. Lots of fist pumping and chest bumping with many players after plays and after the game. I see a team that loves to compete. I saw some nice spirited exchanges between McElroy and coach Orr whenever a good defensive stop was made. Seeing that got ME pumped. Pretty much the whole bench was yelling out to the players on the court throughout the game to keep them playing with high energy.

I saw 2011 signees Jehvon Clarke and Desmond Rorie where at the game last night. I saw both of them joking and laughing with Frieda Falcon a few times.

To top off the night, I drove by the Stroh on the way back East. It sure looks good at night with all the lights on inside and seems a lot bigger in person compared to the impression it gives on the construction cams.

Did anyone see the monster alley oop slam by Torain Oglesby last night? Sweet! We have to get him more time on the floor.
