Throwback Game

Post by orangeBGbrown »

I'm hoping the hangover from the Buffalo game that diminished our team against Kent has passed. I'm looking for the young team to come out energized and strong against a very good Miami team. Although the "throwback" jerseys are weak at best, the team has me excited to face the leading team in our conference. Hopefully there will be a crowd of some sorts since the game is only $1 and $1 hotdogs may bring out some college kids on the first weekend after break. It should be a good game and hopefully a strong outing from our big players (double-double out of Scott Thomas, high assists for Joe Jak, A'uston looking for the extra pass instead of the bad shot, Black staying out of foul trouble, and most of all hitting free throws)

Im excited for this game! I haven't been out to a game for about a month now HA. I really hope we put on a good showing today cause the last time I saw them play which was against Florida International they were just terrible but luckily go the win. This team does have talent but as orangeBGbrown said, as long as Black stays out of foul trouble and CALHOUN CAN THINK ABOUT PASSING IF HE HAS NO SHOT, then I think this will be a good game. Calhoun has talent but I just think he wants to score so bad that he doesn't think before he shoots. Either way though, win or lose I just hope this will be a good game. I just love being in AA and hopefully there will be a crowd cause I would love to witness that great crowd atmosphere again!

GO FALCONS, BEAT UP MIAMI!!

Not a good start to the game...MU up 10-2 early on.

*edit* BUT, BG made a run and tied the game 17-17! Whoo Hoo!

HALFTIME: BG 27, MU 20!! Guys like Erger, Crawford, Oglesby and Kraus doing BiG things.

GO BG!

Young and getting better. Nice throwback crowd that made some throwback noise! Team didn't quit after a bad start. Going to be an interesting ride.

This was a great game! Crawford was a stud today, he did some amazing things out there. For example, Miami went on a fast break 2 on 1 and Crawford ripped the ball right out of Miami's hands and went the other way. He is getting better and better every time I see him. Calhoun still needs to learn how to share and pass the ball around a little better. He showed that he can hit the three ball today though. On the way to the game I was sickened by the site of a Miami flag hanging in front of someones home on wooster. I mean come on, right in the middle of town?

Anyway, great win today guys! Stay strong and win the MAC!

Sealey didn't see the floor today. Anything up with him?

My guess is he is young and has had some trouble with the offense this year. I am not too concerned with Sealey not playing as much as I was Dee Brown. It is obvious Dee's defense is lacking even though his offense was there. Kraus just added a huge upside to the game today to even thhink about Dee getting solid minutes. Great atmosphere today, I got goosebumps with Kraus pumping up the crowd. Ogelsby really impressed me today with 4 very loud points. Those dunks were huge to get the crowd into the game. Hopefully this crowd will return after how exciting of a game we had today. Great win and glad to see them defending the home court
