"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

We need to bounce back and get a win here, no doubt. Not only because of who it is, but also to keep in the mix in the MAC East. We've been playing too well recently to allow Toledo to hand u a consecutive loss.
GO BG!!!

Scouting the Rockettes, looks like one of their biggest weaknesses is turning the ball over...second worst in the MAC at almost 16 TO's a game. BG has been excellent forcing turnovers so that could be a BiG advantage this week. ut also struggles to score so we need to stay in their grills and smother them.

tsun leads BG all time, 83-77, in the series but BG has won 2 straight and 3 of the last 4. I think BG comes out for blood after that tough loss at Akron and runs all over this team...at least I hope. Come on, it's tsun! :)

You clearly don't know much about the Rockets basketball team if you think one of our biggest weaknesses is turnovers. Rebounding, defense, offense, three point defense, shooting, layup drills, tying shoes correctly, remembering to check in with the scorer- all of these are much bigger weaknesses than mere turnovers- we managed to not have a TO until our first possession last game. The game before we had several during warmups as the other team had to chase down several of our errant layup drill passes to return them to us. I say BG by 45 or its a moral victory for the Rockets and BG should be ashamed of themselves. Well, that goes with out saying but you know what I mean. ;-)

And we do make half of our layups during warmups... But thats only when the cheerleaders are watching... :supz:

Quit trying to Lou Holtz us...this is a rivalry game and will be a battle no matter how badly your team sucks... :-)

As per boohoo Lou -
" We needed more Williams than Marys against UT in that bowl game ".
On a sidenote... All of UT's Marys left with our previous coach...
