MAC East off to a great start vs MAC West

Just six games into the MAC East vs MAC West matchups, and it's more of the same from recent years with the MAC East looking better going 5-1 so far going head-to-head. There is now a four-team tie for 1st in the East at 4-2 while only one MAC West school (Ball State) has a winning mark in conference play.
