Word on the MAC board is that a CMU player took out Miami's best player for the year last game with a flagrant foul.

Clearly an intential foul, not sure that he intended to break the arm however. At least that is my take. Either way, it is never good when someone gets hurt.

Wow . . . did you read some of those posts on the CMU site?
They are DOWN on the Coach for his 'treatment' of this kid and some other players in the past.
If true, it doesn't sound like a very good situation in Chip-land.

Antonio Ballard appears to be done for year:

Reading Miami's board it appears mixed opinions on flagrant foul or not. A few feel Ballard was "showing up" the Chips with a dunk attempt with a 10 point lead and 25 seconds left. Either way, it's a terrible way to end your college playing career. Good luck to A. Ballard
One comment on CMU's mess: be glad we have a man like Orr heading our program

Miami(OH) was up 14 at the half on Western today, but lost in overtime. Too bad.

Now maybe the school up north can knock off Kent today so its just us and Buffalo tied at top the East
Also for those who didn't see Ball State lost yesterday as well, so BG, Buffalo, and Ball State currently lead the entire conference at 5-2

Well Toledo has lost 40 straight on the road. Haven't won't on th road since 2007/08 season. Don't think they even won a road game under Gene Cross. I don't think Toledo will stay within 25 points of Kent. Kent is very tough on their court as well. Maybe after saying all that UT will stop its losing streak. Although I still cannot root for Toledo.

Damning with faint praise?
