I'd echo that... IMO, I think most "Christian" bands kind of suck, but Sanctus is among the few that are just GREAT BANDS who happen to play Christian music.
Interesting tid-bit... Sanctus used to play at Grace Lutheran in Elmore every-so-often before "hitting it big" and becoming Grammy nominees and all. Local dudes, great guys, great ROCK music, and I'll bet a sell-out! Great first event for the Stroh!

Having a Christian Band as the first act has to be good Karma for the new building, right?

If that's the case how about we find the members of the rock group Queen, if they are still alive, and have them perform only two songs 'Aonther one bites the dust' and 'We are the Champions'. Unless Freak requests bicycle race

Hey ding-dong, Karma is from Buddhism. For good Karma, we'd want chanting Thai monks, or perhaps Tibetan throat singers.

Huh?
The Grammy's last night.
I still don't understand how that has anything to do with my perception of the quality of most "Christian" bands.

If you are the praying sort, please remember Sanctus Real lead singer Matt Hammitt's young son Bowen. Bowen was born last September with a heart defect and will be underdoing his second surgery tomorrow morning.
