BG - OHIO

Post by gmartin »

Since no thread for this game I may as well start it. Tip off in a little over an hour and as a reminder game will be on STO with Steve n Michael.

A BG win tonight would almost lock up no worse than an 8th seed and a first round home game. Win 2 of our last 4 we will wrap up a home game. Still an outside shot we could win the East. If BG and Akron both win out you will have a 4 way tie for first at 11-5 (BG, Akron, Kent and Miami).

Anyways....... My prediction.

BG 76
OU 69

Time to get back on a winning streak.

So our zone d is awful again. I am starting to hate the "lets keep our better players on the bench to give them a lead then they can come in and be a spark" theory. We just start too slowly

Our defense has really been BAD the past 4-5 games or so. Maybe we need to switch to some man occasionally, but that's tough to say because anytime we've played well under Orr it's been the zone defense that has had us playing that way.

I agree about bringing our better players in as a "spark" though. Jakubowski & Dee Brown are NOT our best guards. Jakubowski, especially, should not be starting. Crawford has been our best guard all season long.

As much as I loved him during our hot stretch, and I still love his style, Oglesby is not playing well of late either.

WOW! I'm behind a bit on DVR, but that Crawford to Sealey on the break was freaking awesome!

More than anything during this stretch of bad play, the most frustrating thing is the inability to get a god damned rebound...

I've been firmly undecided about them for awhile. I don't hate them, but I'm not in love either.

I definitely like the talent that we're starting to put together, I'm hopeful as it develops we'll start to love this staff.

That has been very frustrating, hammb. Great to see BG end the half on a 15-2 run and take a 2 pt lead into the locker room!

Too bad we gotta put up with the never ending talking of Reghi and Mix...man, they are annoying.

BGSU website says 12/10/1991 which is more believable since he's a true freshman.
