This is a GREAT idea. Get some additional practice and time together for the team.

Hopefully we'll see some video or something of these games. Can't wait to see this team play.

The 10 practices will be more important than the three games. When the women's team went to Costa Rica, Curt Miller kept stressing how important it was that the team was able to have the practice time prior to the trip. These extra practices will hopefully give the BGSU men's team an early jump on the 11-12 season.

Has anyone seen any updates on this?

Supposedly...............per the Sentinel Tribune..........

"The team bus leaves Bowling Green on Aug. 16 and the team will be able to do some sightseeing on Aug. 17 before playing three games on three consecutive days. The games will be played at Seneca College. The Falcons face the University of Guelph and a team of college and international players. The third opponent has not been set."

The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team opened its foreign tour with an impressive 91-87 victory over A-Game Hoops Wednesday night in an exhibition game played at Seneca College.

A-Game Hoops (www.agamehoops.com) is Canada's first European development system with a roster full of former NCAA and European players. The team had just come off of a seven-point win over Atlantic 10 school Duquesne two nights earlier.

Dee Brown led a balanced Bowling Green effort with 14 points as the Falcons shot 58 percent from the field and made 5-of-7 three-pointers. A'uston Calhoun had 13 points and Scott Thomas added 12. Jordon Crawford knocked down three of the team's five three-pointers and ended with 10 points. The team also made 12-of-14 free-throws down the stretch to ice the game.

A-Game Hoops will get a rematch with Bowling Green Friday night at 7 pm and the Falcons will close out the foreign tour Saturday with a 7 p.m. game against Phase 1.

Good deal. Didn't Duquense pound us early last year. At least we beat a team that beat them a couple nights before. And before I forget.......holy crap we scored 91 points!
