Grant,
Do I assume this event is scheduled for FRIDAY nite as opposed to Sat.? Need to know as Joyce and I will be up for my 50th class reunion, and, since I'm on the reunion committee, we have several things planned for Friday..Wouldn't mind getting over to see this. Still not sure we'll stay over Sat. nite too; have hotel booked, but we can always cancel that last nite, since we're coming up Thursday nite anyway.

Here's the official release from the Athletic Department... the previous info was from a player's Facebook page:

Catch A Glimpse Of BGSU Basketball At Falcon Madness Friday

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men’s and women’s basketball teams will be taking part in Falcon Madness Friday night at the Stroh Center to tip off the 2011-12 basketball seasons.

The event will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the BGSU volleyball match, which begins at 7 p.m., and will feature both the men’s and women’s basketball teams in a variety of games and competitions.

The evening will include head-to-head competitions between the men’s and women’s teams as well as opportunities for fans to be involved. Each team will have a scrimmage and the Stroh Center rap video will be highlighted on the video board. There will also be a Phi Beta Sigma Step Show, and autograph session with both teams and coaching staffs, a silent auction, and a student raffle to win a Nintendo Wii.

Admittance to the event is free.
