Dang. Akron's front court is going to be strong. Marshall, Cetinovich (spelling) and Harney (rockin' the Toney Reid by the way). First game out and they look sharp - running the floor, man.
Can't wait for Friday night!

A laugher for Akron in SEC country. Good for the MAC. Scary for the teams in the MAC.
On a personal note: the cheerleaders saying "GOOO DAAWS". Oh my!
And the guys on the call have renamed Akron to [ak-RON].
I'm ready for some hoops!

Yes, Akron looked very good. Very nice win for Akron and the MAC to start the season. I sure hope BG can do the same on Sunday down in Athens, Georgia.
I'll tell you what....I hope like hell that this year's team can finally do something. Because frankly, we (as in BG) are desperate for a winning men's program in something right now. I mean, what is BG good in anymore in men's sports??? Really? All the stars a aligned for us right now. We return an experienced team, our coaching staff returns intact, we have a three-member senior class, we have depth, we have a nice group of newcomers, we have a brand new arena, and with that (and for the first time in years) - there seems to finally be some excitement about the team and season. Now most of it probably stems from the new arena, but who cares....let's build on it! We were picked dead last again in the MAC East. I'm tired of this crap, let's do something about it! GO BG!!!

What mens sports are we good in anymore?
Baseball and...........wait............ just baseball.
Don't worry though, all our teams are really young. 10 years from now we'll be pretty good. It's all part of GC 's 10 yr plan to destroy the fan base and all the sports teams. Keep up the great work!!!!

You really need to stop turning every thread on every forum into an anti-GC pity party of negativity. It serves no purpose whatsoever.

If you designated money to a particular sport in the past few years, you might say he stole your money too, because it probably didn't go to that sport!
