For those of you in the know, this is the biggest game to date in the Stroh. Without question, the place should be packed with screaming fans from tip to finish.
A good test to measure fan support here in good old BG.

With students still on break I see attendance of 2100, if that.

Many of the students will be coming back for the weekend. hopefully BG basketball is a priority with a great many of them.

The on-campus students may move back into the residence halls on Sunday.

You are correct Transfer, on campus students will come back Sunday. Would been nice to had this game scheduled for a 4pm Sunday tip off. This game is part of a women's doubleheader so that may help with the attendance. Still don't see more than 150 students show up for this game. Hope I am wrong.

Not sure we can really call this a doubleheader anymore. With the one game starting at noon and the second at 6:00 PM. That's a four hour dead period in between games (approximately).

If there is any blame on this one, it goes to the MAC offices.

OU will probably travel more people than we have students at the game.

So it'll just be like any BG women's basketball road game

 Nice try

I meant that it would similar to some BG women's road games, where some times BG has more fans then the other school has students there

Not only will the game be played without any students, it will also be head- to- head with hockey playing Ohio State right next door. Simply brilliant.....biggest MAC opponent to come to BG since Kent State was ranked a few years ago and we get a double whammy. I understand we can't control the MAC schedule, which is why I always prefer to open MAC play on the road so we are at the advantage instead of disadvantage like this, but moving the basketball game time for TV without changing the start time of hockey or being able to avoid the head - to- head game with hockey is awful. I planned to come to BG to see both that day way back when the schedule was released.

I would bet there are less than 100 people that would go to both games. It simply doesn't make that big of a difference.

We will be up Saturday for all 3 games...just gotta decide if we leave the men's game at halftime or stay and get to the hockey game in the 2nd period.

GO BG...in everything.

SO . . . is there no one from the A Dept/Administration who can/would step up and let the MAC Offices know that we are hurting for $$$ and attendance and the conference scheduling is NOT helping ??? :-k

If those 100 people only choose one event instead of both, then one of the events will only have 50 fans at the game. ](*,)
