About to make the short drive to Oxford from Indy. I see this as a very close game. One missed FT or one bad TO could play huge in the outcome. My prediction, BG 62 MU 59

Is Cam Black playing. Did not see him in pregame warm ups. I guess I will know in about 15 min when they come back out.

Thoughts from the first half from my corner seat in the arena. We are fouling WAY too much. One questionable call on Cam Black but regardless we are fouling way too much. Secondly, we are getting killed it the paint. Most of their points are from close range. Too many stupid turnovers. Way too many traveling and carrying the ball. And that last defensive stop, oh wait, we didn't stop it, killed us. Gave Miami an open 3 at the buzzer. Once again Orr walking the sidelines, arms crossed showing no emotion. The team is playing with the same energy the coach is showing.

I'm watching and the first half was just a boring grind....pretty much like most of our games. Turnovers, missed shots, a lot of passing and looking around. Feels like we are down by a lot more than we are. I wish to God just someone on this team would come to life and give us a boost, someone to spark us. We just play such a damn boring style of basketball that it'll put you to sleep. Maybe it has that effect on our players. I am also watching the Kent State at Ohio game on STO and it's like those two teams are in a different conference than we are. Making shots, running the floor, dunks and three, a home crowd that understands how to make noise, and best of all, a student section that is a true student section like we had not long ago before we killed it off. He're hoping for a better half to avoid a 1-3 start in the conference.....

So far in the second---Jordan takes it to the hoop and after 3 tips, we get two. A bit later, Dee does same, makes "and one!" My kingdom for some consistency and did I hear correctly - Crawford has 12?

Much, much, much better second half by BG so far! BG now up 53-42 and Crawford has 20. Now keep this up and close this out Falcons.

Whoo hoo...way to go BG. Falcons 65, Miami 57 final. Only 11 turnovers tonight, excellent. 50% from the field.
In other games, Ohio is pounding Kent State 81-51 with 5 min left in the game and Buffalo leads Akron 69-65 with 3:33 left in the game.
OU wins BiG 87-63 while Buffalo beats Akron, 82-70.
Akron 3-1 MAC, BG, Kent State, Buffalo and Ohio all 2-2 and Miami at 1-3. Kent State travels to Akron Sat. The JAR will be sold out, 5,500 strong.

Ohio is simply killing Kent State...I can't believe we beat this same OU team two weeks ago with what I am watching right now.

Will be a nice drive back home. And make a return trip tomorrow for the women's game. Maybe I should try and sit in the same seat if possible.

During an 8 minute stretch in the second half, BG held Miami to 2 points. That's getting it done.
Any win away from home in the East is a good win.

Slowing down teams like OU and Kent on the offensive side seems to be the way to beat those teams, we slowed down OU and won, we didn't slow down Kent and we lost

Looks like The Convo is going to sell out, too. That'll be something.

Crawford and Thomas had huge games tonight...BG won for the 50th time vs MU. Unfortunately, we trail the all time series 76-50. Yuk. And, it was the first time BG's won at Millett Hall since Feb 2002. What is it about MU in football and men's hoops???
BEAT BUFFALO
