Another Dustin letter in the paper

Another letter from Dustin. And he wonders why people give him grief. 5 letters to the newspaper in the past 13 months. Dustin, if you have something to complain about I can give you a direct email to the university. Heck, read the BG website and their is a link as well. No need to air your dirty laundry, if which your complaints are not really complaints. AA was lenient in its policies for past 20 years. What the are enforcing at Stroh should have been enforced all along. Any other arena has similar policies. Comerica Park, Ford Field, the Big House, The Horseshoe, Lucas Oil Stadium, 5/3 Field. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it needs to change. You are not being singled out, however, maybe all of your letters and complains are the reason people are complaining about you at the Stroh.

Here I am writing this in regards to the security at the Stroh Center. I recently attended the BG vs Toledo game on Saturday and I had went to get something to eat during the game and as I got back to the section I was sitting at just getting ready to go down back to my seat I was told by the "tin soldier" that I had to wait for a "break in play" and I immediately thought this didn't seem right so I pointed out the fact that I've never had to do that before even while a game was in progress! Not only that but the same tin soldier had to check my ticket three times before he would let me get to my seat! And what is the deal with the security standing on the floor during time outs? I seriously doubt that anything is really going to happen here at BG! Nothing happened in Anderson Arena and I'm pretty sure nothing is going to happen at the Stroh either! Is there really a need for the tin soldiers? I don't think so and I am sure there are others who think the same too. Needless to say if something don't change about the security before next season I don't think I will purchase season tickets for men or women basketball! Sincerely a diehard Falcon Fan.

And btw, I been to 11 away games this year, men and women and I remember all venues but Ball State had security on the court edges during time outs, but at Ball State they had the athletic department on the floor during time out events, so basically some sort of security. And why do you care if there is security on the courts.

"Needless to say if something don't change about the security before next season I don't think I will purchase season tickets for men or women basketball!"
This is probably incentive for them to hassle you more.

This is just bitching to bitch.
"They made me stand longer then I wanted to." People don't have the necessary food or shelter on the planet and you were made to stand for a reasonable amount of time that was in excess of your desire.

Not only that, but you were asked to stand there a little while so you wouldn't disturb the people watching the game. Jesus...you sound like such a fu**ing baby when you write these stupid letters

He had to get to his seat so the refs could read his sign he made for them. Dustin, maybe you should go back wearing huggies that way you don't have to use the restrooms. Since your acting like a baby maybe you should dress like one.

Flipper and I both call him a baby within minutes. Glad I'm not the only one thinking he is being a baby.

Do you really feel the need to resort to personal attacks? And big deal if I wrote another letter to the editor?! That's my right to do so! Why couldn't it just be left alone?

Funny! As if I've never heard that before. And yet I'm immature?! A few people need to take a long good look at themselves!

Everyone wants to know why attendence is down, this is why, no one wants to be in the same place as this fool
I can only imagine the bitch fest he would have if the people at the Stroh Center had little stop signs telling you to wait until a break in the action like they do at the Huntington Center and 5/3 Field

It's odd in the S-T to read the complaints posted in the comments. Some complain the Stroh is a glorified HS gym (what an amazing HS they must have attended) while others complain they are running the Stroh like a college/pro arena.
A lot of unhappy people these days. Hope our recruits don't read all this.

So you have the right to write a letter but I can't dispute it. A little hypocritical dont you think. I have just as much right to reply to you as you have to write a letter. And you said you have heard that diaper remark before. So I'm guessing you never have grown up and been a baby all your life. Like I said, if you have a ptoblem contact the administration. No need to wrote letters especially when they did nothing wrong. All they are doing is implementing the same policies that 98% of all other sporting venues follow.

The "glorified HS gym" comments are totally absurd IMO. If these people want glorified HS gyms they need to tune into tonight's BYU/San Francisco game on ESPNU or the Gonzaga/Santa Carla game on ESPN2, or during championship week they need to watch the championship games for conferences like the America East, Northeast Conference, or Big South
