BG/IPFW Predictions

One word.....PAYBACK! But rule #1, always respect the opponent. Before we go dismissing this as a win, remember, we lost to them last year. IPFW's center, David Simon, was going to leave early for the NBA last year but suffered a knee injury in the pre-draft camps and pulled out and returned to school. Still, I think we have more depth and talent and I believe this is another game we should win pretty comfortably.

yes we lost to them last year, but we had to start Ron last year, therefor, we crush their skulls this year.

Well, Ron Lewis had 33 points for us last year against IPFW, so he can't be blamed for our loss. But I still feel we'll win this year, at least, we'd better!

Post game moment: Coach D. goes to officials locker room and invites the three to his house for cookies and tea while they enjoy the sounds of chamber music.

33 points that could have been divided up between a few more teammates. I still think he was too big of a ball hog I guess

Lewis scored 33 points, and so did our four starters combined! Montgomery -14, Netter - 8, Almanson - 7, Eyink - 4. Add it up, that's also 33. Our four bench players combined for nine more points. Lewis may not have been our best "team-player," but we can't pin that loss last year on him. He probably prevented us from getting blown out.

Thank you sir. Ron Lewis zoned out on defense and offense all the time. It seemed like the only time he really wanted to pay attention was when he had the ball.
