Looking through the MAC Tournament program to see what each men's team loses this year. Here are the senior classes at each MAC school...
Akron - 3 (2 played a major role)
Ball State - 3 (2 played a major role)
BG - 3 (2 starters 1 bench)
Buffalo - 4 (includes MAC POY)
Central Michigan - 2
Eastern Michigan - 4
Kent State - 4 (all major contributors)
Miami - 2 (Mavunga)
Northern Illinois - 3
Ohio - 1 (not a major contributor)
Toledo - 0
Western Michigan - 5 (ouch! Maybe for the best when you win 8 games all year)

Akron loses McClanahan and Cvetinick. Cvetnick is tough, but Treadwell will replace him. McClanahan was barely relevant. Akron returns so much talent it's ugly. They will kick the snot out of us and the better part of the conference.
Kent returns some talent and will be OK. Kent, like Akron and unlike BG, developed their bench, spent time in the weight room, refuses to play non-talents like Dee Brown, and doesn't approach the game passively
Toledo will step up and surpass the rest of the West. They are the up and coming program in the MAC.

Toledo will pass BG next year as well.
Wonder if that will matter to the AD or the administration?
Probably not.

I really have very little interest in men's basketball next year.

I'd rather not discuss next yr already...still too sick over that game Monday night as I watch NIU/WMU in the tourney. NIU made it to Cleveland and we didn't...sheese. Gawd, Reghi and Mix are total tools.

Count me out about talking about next year, I'm morse ready to start talking about "in a few years from now"...... After watching what this year's team did to end this season this year, and what we'll lose next year, we're right back in our custom role of "rebuilding" again. I don't see any way we don't finish dead last in the MAC East and get a first-round road game in the MAC Tournament where we'll be sitting right at home again come this time next year. At least our men's team gets to enjoy Spring Break unlike our women's team.

If our men's team had 10% of the success in the MAC Tournament as our women's team does, we might win the damn thing once every decade.
