News from twitter is that the basketball schedule for the mens and womens teams will be released at 11AM TODAY!! With a schedule that includes a home game against national ranked (Top 10) Michigan State, assistant coach LaMonta Stone said on twitter that this is the "best home non-conference schedule in years." Can't wait until its released!!

Michigan State is obviously the B!G game.

Other notes:

3 Horizon League Schools, Detroit, Youngstown, and Wright State.
4 of the 7 nonconference games are in a row, in a 2 week stretch.
Back to back nonconference games in the middle of February.
No home games from December 18th to January 12th.
Temple on New Years eve.

It's solid.

I actually like the schedule overall. Pretty good mix of games and opponents and a nice balance of home and away games. But our two biggest home games (Michigan State and Ohio) will be played over Christmas break (MSU) and when students will have left for spring break (OU).

Very solid. It'll be nice not spending the entire month of December on the road.

Michigan State would not agree to play us at home while the students were here.

I'm surprised they're coming back at all After last time, they said they would never play here again. I believe it was Heathcote that said that, so he kept his word.
