Just want to get the facts on something I mentioned earlier. I don't know if Dakich said something not so nice to Frieda during the Buffalo game after he thanked the student crowd for coming out or not , so thats why I'm asking. I only mentioned this cuz' my friend was looking at him from the coaches bench side and he's totally positive DD said "something" to Frieda Falcon after she patted him on the shoulder. I know it can be tricky when your seeing someone mouth words that you can't hear, so I wan't to be sure my friend actually knew what he was talking about. Thanks.

I heard from someone who was sitting right behind the bench that DD said "Excuse me bird" to her. I also know that Frieda then said "Scuse me Coach Dakich..." I read her beak.

I think it was something like, "Sit down! You sit down or you DIE!!" or was it "You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!"

I can't remember anymore, maybe that was something I saw on TV. I'm so confused."You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!" Please help us Freida, I think about what DD must have said and I just can't sleep at nights.

I'm almost certain Dakich mentioned his close friendship with Colonel Sanders, and that is what had the bird cowering in fear

Actually, I believe my memory is coming clearer now... Dan said "Thanks Charlie" because it was actually Charlie Coles who was wearing the Frieda suit for that game. Yep... NOW I remember!!

I think he said "hey...you're not a real bird at all are you?"

Whats with the sarcastic remarks on my post? I was just asking a simple question. Besides, anyone sitting in the student section side of the arena wouldn't know jack what DD said. So I'm just saying that my friend told me he was so positive that he saw DD mouth "something" not particularly nice to our beloved Frieda. I don't know if DD said anything at all, cuz I was in the student section. I believe Frieda has posted here before if I'm not mistaken, so thats why I directed the question mainly to her since she's was the only one within earshot of DD if he said anything. No need to rip me here. I'm not posting this to turn people against DD or anything. I personally can't see DD saying something not-so-nice to our own mascot, so when my friend was telling me this , I grilled him about it telling him he was probably mistaken, but he kept telling me he was positive. And its not like my friend has any angst against Dakich either. I for one hope its nothing but baloney , thats why I'm just asking what happened instead of just proclaiming this as truth. Okay!
