Re: Lake Erie
It was ugly. 1st half offense turned into Crawford going Iverson style, and a bunch of bricks by Orr, Erger, Kraus, and company. Worst shooting team I've ever seen. I do like Holmes alot. Very active and great shot blocking instincts. Going to be a long year.

Re: Lake Erie
To add insult to injury, LEC up until 2009 was an average DIII school. In 2009, they added a football program and moved up to DII.
Anyway, I can't remember the last time LEC basketball had a winning record.
They do have a reasonably good MBA program [which is where I received mine].

I would now predict a single digit win total for this team.

Re: Lake Erie
Only way this team gets into double digit wins is Calhoun and Crawford stay healthy all year. The BG bench has 4 wasted scholarships on it.

We're winning. Enjoy the ride.
Re: Lake Erie
Enjoy the ride? The "ride" last night was so boring we left at halftime.

Have pride in your school and stay the entire time. They will be my school no matter what win lose or draw.
Re: Lake Erie
I have pride in BG Basketball. I grew up with it and have enjoyed it for lots of years. This product is mediocre crap. My pride told me this is year 6 of the same old same old. Based on the rows and rows of empty seats around me in the Anderson Club, I'm not the only one.

I am just playing around.
Re: Lake Erie
This doesn't sound like a team that will more than 12 Globe.
Re: Lake Erie
A mediocre division 1 team should beat Lake Erie by 40.
Re: Lake Erie
Happy that we actually won, even though we couldn't shake a damn D-II school for the entire game. But if ever a win felt like a loss, this one might have been it. Yet another game where we made shooting the basketball look way harder than it is. For years under Orr we have struggled with teams that simply can't shoot and score, and it looks like we are in for yet another season of it.
GO BG!!!
