Chauncey Orr had the most useless 30+ minutes of basketball I've ever seen. Kraus is awful. Our coaching staff is clueless. I think those were my 3 most visible issues.

Orr was better then Kraus. But I don't know how you can watch your second group have tons more energy then your first and then put Kraus and Orr back in.

The same coach who sends his team back onto the floor out of timeouts with a minutes left in the timeout. Half the time the dance team is still performing. He can't motivate at all. The team takes on his personality.

Just brutally bad basketball. Honestly one of the worst basketball games I can remember watching. Every bit as terrible as some of the horrid Dakich teams.

How in god's name can you possibly be a Division 1 basketball player and shoot as poorly as Orr/Kraus do? The painful thing about it is that today was not even an anomaly for those two...they just flat out can NOT score. They are completely and totally USELESS on the offensive end. I don't care if they're so good on defense that they can guard the other 5 guys by themselves you can NOT survive with 2 completely useless offensive players on the floor at one time.

Orr did some good things getting some boards and his hands on the ball a few times, but when you shoot as awfully as he has I don't understand how in god's name he continues to get 25-30 minutes a game. Seriously it's an accomplishment if he catches more than a grazing piece of the rim. Ridiculous. And then Kraus takes a wide open shot and hits the side of the backboard? REALLY!?

This team is terrible. I hope it's enough to get Orr out of here.

As for the rest of the team? Crawford did what I expected...couldn't hit the broad side of a barn because he shot so well last time. Calhoun is the same enigma he's always been. The backups had some energy but don't get enough PT. Henderson is still the only guy on the team with a real jump shot and he plays very little. Clarke was alright, but not as good as I expected him to be with the promise he showed last year. Holmes was active. Sealey did some decent work. Black was nonexistent. 3 of our starters had 0 points. How is that even possible!?

And how does Orr still have a job when the best jump shooter he's recruited in 5-6 years is Dee freaking Brown!? This program is a joke under him...I can't believe we've had as much student support as we have in these past 2 games...

58-49 makes it look much better than it was. Had Youngstown made more than 30% of it's free throws they win by nearly 20. Directionally, Mr. Christopher, your lost.

OK, folks, now is the time to start making bets for the date of Orr's resignation or termination.

My prediction: After this season, BG will buy out his final year and say good bye.

Well it depends on how long it takes BG to rid themselves of Christopher. If Christopher is around next year, I won't be shocked if they give him another year. Christopher has no balls, unless he firing to appease departmental "love".

Just returned home from watching the most mediocre, uninspired sporting event I believe I have ever witnessed. I watched a head coach who is excellent at clapping and giving all glory to God but seems incapable of motivating college athletes. I watched all of this from my Anderson Club seats which cost me a bit over $1,000 per season for my 2 tickets. Half of that is joining the Falcon Club at the Orange & Brown level. (That donation is earmarked for football BTW) Well not next year. I will be emailing our AD to inform him that i will not invest in a program that the athletic department allows to wallow in mediocrity. I encourage all of you who have invested money in this program to do the same. I have 2 season tickets on the 50 yard line for football with parking for a tad under $300.00. That may be the best value in all of America! I am more than happy to invest in a football program that is led by a man with vision and talent. As nice a man as I'm sure Louis Orr is he simply has not convinced me that he is a program builder. I love our facility and I love the concept of The Anderson Club but the AD must be sent the message that what we witnessed today is not going to be tolerated. I do not expect a win every night but I do expect competitiveness and a vision of a program moving in a positive direction. Unless we have a coaching change next year I will no longer spend my hard earned money on the sham of a basketball program. Our AD will learn of this in my email to him and if any of you are as frustrated as I am, please do the same. It's time the AD hears from the paying public. As a football season ticket holder I am treated with respect and offered a product that is competitive, growing and is a great value. As a basketball season ticket holder I'm taken for granted at 3 times the cost of my football tickets. As I said, that ends at the conclusion of this season. I can only imagine what must be going through the minds of those generous individuals who have donated millions in this so called program. We ALL deserve better! Shame on the athletic department for taking advantage of us all!

I'm reminded of the great holiday movie "Planes, Trains and Automobiles whenever I'm reminded of that dubious Christopher quote about how pleased he was with the basketball programs direction.
The couple in the car (playing the role of the Falcon nation) are screaming at Steve Martin and John Candy's characters as they drive the wrong way on the interstate "You're going in the wrong direction!". And John Candy playing in the role of Greg Christopher says "They're drunk, how do they know which direction we're going?'
Moments later their car explodes in flames.

I'm not convinced that I could not provide the same quality of basketball that Kraus and Erger give this team, and I don't think very highly of my basketball skills. I am not sure they should have received a scholarship at any level. How do you score that many points in hs and be this awful in college?

Here is my take in the other thread....I have never seen more 3's miss as badly as I saw them today. Just awful shooters. Kraus should never shoot. For Orr to have that bad looking of a shot with a NCAA coach as his dad is beyond me. It's not that we don't have good shooters its that we have awful shooters. If I was Luke Kraus I would shoot hundreds of 3 pointers a day realizing that this would be my role. How can you be a senior in a program and be that horrible of a shooter? I can understand being weak on offense because you lack a quick first step, but his shooting is awful.
