Luke Kraus' stats are downright embarrassing!

Luke Kraus, our starting two-guard, has started every game this year, has played the third most minutes of anyone on the team, and is shooting 19% from the field! He has made a whopping total of 8 shots all season! Eight! That is one shot made for every game he has started and played. He is averaging 27.5 minutes per game right now an is averaging one.....ONE.....basket per game. Is it any damn wonder why our point guard must shoot as many times as he has to or why we struggle like hell to score as a team when THIS is the "production" we are getting from our two-guard?! Pathetic!

Luke had his worst game of his career tonight. He has no offensive game. In Orr's defense, he really didn't have much choice than to play him since Clarke was out, and his son was in foul trouble.

As I sit and watch this team play I honestly think Luke Kraus might be the worst starter I've had the privilege to watch in a BG uniform. He is flat out terrible. And it's not just offense either...he's NOT this great defender that people make him out to be. I think it was the very first play of the game last night Kraus's man blew right past him off the dribble for a 2 handed dunk.

The thing that cracks me up is how upset Kraus always seems to get with himself when he bricks a shot. What does he expect at this point?

He can't dribble at all, he can't shoot worth a damn, and he's not the great defender that he's touted as. Yet he continues to play 25+ minutes per game. All I can do is stare in disbelief...

For all the bitching about those final Dakich years (and I was probably the ring leader of the bitching) I'm not sure that Dan ever had a trio as bad as Orr/Kraus/Erger that play this many minutes. Those 3 guys are averaging 64.5 minutes per game and a whopping 11.2 points.

I couldn't agree more. Amazing that not 1 of last years scholarships was used to address the SG, SF position. It shows Orr really thinks those guys he is playing are good. Did anyone catch that left handed floater he tossed up on the baseline last night? WOW.

It's more amazing that Henderson doesn't play more or Sealey or Calhoun are not tried more at the 3. I understand the Erger and Kraus statements, but I think Orr is ok. Not great, but not bad. He is atleast a decent sized active body. Erger has been shooting pretty well this year.

Kraus is shooting 19% from the field. I have never seen anything that bad. Holmes is shooting 75%.

Is Spencer Clark healthy yet?

I know you think Orr is OK, but I'm still not seeing it. I'll give you that he's an active body. I'll grant that he's done a good job getting rebounds with his hustle. I'll even say that he's a decent defender.

But he is SO devoid of offensive game I still refuse to say he's even an OK player. No way does he start or play major minutes on an average to good MAC team. He doesn't dribble, he doesn't pass, and his jump shot is AWFUL.

That being said, we are NOT a good or average MAC team. We're a bad MAC team. And as such we don't really have another SF to take minutes away from him. Sealey has bulked up to more of a PF in size. I don't think we really have anybody on this team with a SF size/skillset. We're pretty well stuck with Erger/Orr splitting those minutes, I'm afraid.

Having seen them play twice I have to say that I overstated that he was an ok 4 or 5 on a mac team. I think he is more like a 6-8. You don't want him starting with how bad he is on offense but I am not sure that he is not a D1 talent....but my confidence in that statement is wavering. See me next week when I say he is a good 9-13 guy LOL.

I was excited to see Henderson be agressive. If I am the coach I start him next game and tell him if he doesn't take 5 shots in the first 8 minutes I am pulling him. That's the guy I want shooting, and I don't even think he is that great at it, just much better then Kraus and Orr and Crawford. He has a nice stroke.

Calhoun has been decent from 3 this year. I would still love to see a lineup of him at the 3 and Holmes at the 4. Holmes is a very very good athlete for his size. He is on pace for the most blocks ever in a season as a Falcon. Let him play!

Sealeys transition has really been an odd one. He went from someone I projected as the starter at the 3 to unquestionably our 4th best post player. The minutes just are not there for him. He is a wasted talent IMO. Orr's biggest failure in terms of talent wasted.

While i agree he is bad, would have best been fit at D2 Findlay (like half our team) it is not only the falcons who were fooled by him out of high school, look at his espn recruiting profile and evaluation..

Good find. That's hilarious. What's next, a talent evaluation of Erger as a "sniper" from 3? Rorie as a double double machine? Utah, Wright State, and Youngstown State as sleeper Final Four teams?

Globe, don't kid yourself here. Akron could have had Clarke or Black if they wanted either. Probably Kent too.

I just meant what level they were on. Logically that is the only thing that makes sense here as Findlay could have offered them all as well.
