Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I would say unbelievable but it really isn't.

How is that even possible? How do you foul? How do you shoot and not try to run clock?

Honestly, neither team deserved to win. I've never seen 2 possession leads disappear so fast in my life. Incredible.

Seven point lead with under a minute to go, and we blew it. Had an excellent chance to beat a Big East team on the road, just simply couldn't close the deal.

I'd say that sums up the Orr years pretty well.

Well, the good news is Kraus got 10 of 55 minutes. The bad news is Crawford is still the guy holding the ball with under 15 seconds in the shot clock.
I missed the first half of the game on the radio, but they sure found a way to lose. Pretty much, the non-conference part of the season is a bust. I don't expect the conference part to go much better.

The most positive thing was Henderson playing, and Kraus watching. This is just another example of the lack of attention to detail with this staff. The game management is horrendous. Atleast, Orr let Crawford go for 27 points after halftime. Oh well, Orr is now penciling in his 6th straight losing non-conference record. Like Lou always says, "the season is not a sprint, it's a marathon." Nothing says let's be mediocre quite like that. Fail in the non-conference, torch the awful MAC West for 5 wins, and convince your fundraising AD that "directionally" the program is headed upward. Merry Christmas.

You know, everyone bitched about Anderson and the lack of funds to provide build a new arena. One was hired that fixed what everyone was bitching about. He also got funds to remodel the ice arena and now is getting funds for the Doyt. All facilities that everyone bitched about. Now everyone is bitching that all the AD does is fundraising. Would everyone like to return to Anderson? Would everyone prefer that the old ice system was still in place? Without those funds that is where you would be.
"Oh, but Death, he sucks at picking coaches." I think he did alright with women's BB, football and hockey. Every coach can't be Mike Ksychelsidsksibicosski.

My biggest issue is Sealey and Clark only seeing 6 minutes in a triple OT game.

At the end of the day another loss. This team is beyond frustrating to follow. 2 wins over power conferences were easily within grasp.

I'd return to Anderson, the outdoor courts, or Eppler to see BG play in the NCAA Tournament. He got it built, thanks. Now find someone who knows what to do with it.
