Somebody better get off their @#$ and get Keith McLeod to personally escort Dan Dakich to a Canton McKinley game sometime this year to start working on 6'7" Raymar Morgan and/or 6'6" Ricky Jackson [both highly skilled Juniors].....

…before you say can't be done because of schedules [BS excuse], check the below link showing Tom Izzo - Head Coach Michigan State and Eric Snow - Cleveland Cavs [Michigan State and McKinley Alum] at a recent Canton McKinley game. Come on BG staff!!… Let’s step up and take advantage of our past alums connections!!!

Does Dakich or his coaches ever do anything like this with past alums??

By the way, if Keith can’t go with Dakich, ask him to call Anthony Robinson [McKinley alum and BG 4 year starter in late 1980s] and get an insight on how to get in front of these guys…..

So you think the coaches are NOT aware of these players??

Coach has a good relationship with both Keith and Anthony as well as the coaching staff at McKinley... you can bet everything that can be done is being done.

Thanks Grant...

that's all I needed to know.

As a BG and McKinley alum, I get a little nervous seeing other program's coaches and their former players sitting courtside at HS games of blue chip recruits, when we should have strong ties as well. We've missed on a few McKinley players recently that have gone to mid-major D-I programs that could have helped BG.... [props to Dakich on the Keith McLeod recruiting - don't get me wrong]

My "rant" wasn't a criticism, just an observation. If we want to get back to the NCAA tourney like we all talk about on these pages, we need to ask questions like this. Why? 1] to show interest in the BG program; 2] to hold the staff accountable to higher standards.

This forum is another way to do that.

Great job on this site by the way!!

P.S.- Here is the Bulldogs schedule...several open dates that don't conflict with Falcon's schedule:
