Akron has walked into BG eight....yes, EIGHT....consecutive times and has come away with a win each time. BG has not beaten Akron in BG since January 18, 2003. It's been a decade since we have beaten the Zips at how....incredible.

Last year BG lead from the start until under one minute to play, as Akron took its first lead with :32 to play before BG regained the lead before, then losing by one point with one second to go.

Blah blah blah. Look 33, why even bring this up? This time it isn't even going to be a game...Akron is gonna come into the Stroh and slap our ass and call us Sally. It's gonna be 9 consecutive. Pull their starters off the roster and they're still the favorites. The entire prospect of this game bores me. Just be done with it right now. Pffffftttt.

It's not real complicated. They have a good coach and good players. We have a horrible coach and 10 below average players.
The selling point of BG Basketball is religion and lots of odd colored uniforms.

Much is unacceptable about the current program before you even consider particulars like BG's records against other MAC programs.

For starters, let's get a hungry, tough coach; some decent fan support; and a full roster of legitimate D1 basketball players. Then we can concern ourselves with regularly competing with programs that are actually decent.

We can't shoot or score, not free throws or shots. Same thing year after year. But Orr keep preaching defense, defense....well guess what, you need to score too.

AND LOOK AT ALL THOSE EMPTY SEATS AGAINST THE BEST TEAM IN THE MAC. There is very little support for this program right now.
