What Are The Chances Coach Orr Is Gone?

After the debcle today (and all season), what do you think are the chances BG will fire Coach Orr and find a new coach? I want to believe the writing on the wall that we all can read is as evident to the AD. However, I am afraid I may have my hopes too high. Please, givee reasons to believe changes will be made at the end of the season.

About 25% and the reason is $$$$ and the fact it does not make the AD look good to fire him as it is his hire. I think it would take a lot of pressure from above.

99.9% if you follow college basketball at all. There simply isn't a reason to even have a program if you bring him back. He should have been fired the year before they opened the arena

I think he'll be back. He shouldn't be, but will.

Coach Orr could be an asset in other areas at the University. Let him go as coach and find a campus position for him - say reaching out to prospective students. He would excel in that area. In the meantime we would be able to keep his son around a few more years. Something clearly needs to be done.
I think there are more students attending BG swim meets that basketball games.

Why would we keep Orr around? Reach out to prospective students? He can't recruit as a former NBA player. How Bowling Green of us would that be to say sorry we don't want you to coach because your product is bleach to our eyes, but we want your average son to stay and finish. CLEAN HOUSE from the stool, to the chin strap beard at the end of the bench.

Can Christopher fundraise someone to do that for him, because he has no clue how to do that part of the job himself.

Our expectations of the program are so low that people are debating if he will be fired. That's a huge sign there that we need to clean house.

Make him an administrator in the athletic department. We can make him in charge of "(put your suggestion here)".

Heck, we now have someone in charge of scheduling events in the Stroh as well as a general manager, and who knows what else. I'm sure they can make another position, and pay for it by cutting a few more sport's scholarships!

No decent coach with a brain in his head would walk into a sitaution where his recently fired predecessor is hanging around the department in another capacity.

I don't think you noticed my tongue firmly implanted in my cheek!
I agree, but you never know what the guy in charge might do.
After all, a few years age, they moved someone from food service and had them trying to take care of athletic facilities! ;)

I certainly hope you are NOT talking about Dave Crooks or Greg Predmore.

BG's last game will be 3/11 or 3/13, depending on if we get the bye.

So, an announcement on Orr's departure it would hopefully come on the 12th or 14th.

Two points: 1) it's very hard to speculate that he'll be bought out, and 2) a voluntary resignation isn't impossible.
