Not to dash too much of your negativity, but our Falcons have a legitimate shot of going somewhere in this tournament. In the first three rounds, they will play teams that they have already beaten this season. Yeah, there is Ohio on Friday, but you never know?!?!? If they would do this, they would play a Kent team they have already beaten or an Akron team that is firing on three cylinders... I know they could lose tonight, but our team has a punchers chance... Would we be the first NCAA team with a losing record??

Too late for that. Liberty won the Big South conference at 15-20.

Yes and there have been other under .500 teams to make it as well. Even without Liberty if this somehow happened we wouldn't have been the first

That brings up an interesting question. IF we happen to see the stars align and happen to win the MAC Tournament and go to the NCAA Tournament does it really feel good to end out pathetic NCAA non-appearance streak that way??

For me it depends, if we somehow beat Ohio and Akron in the semis and final it would feel good to me to beat the two best teams in the conference to earn the bid. If its any of the other teams we beat in those two rounds it wouldn't feel as good to me, I would just be happy that the streak is over

Oops. 9-21 Miami just waltzed into the Stroh and won. The program is a joke.

I was even stupid enough to somehow manage to at least hope we could win this one. I even invisioned going to the game on Wednesday night. But we instead got beat by a team, at home, that had only won once since beating us in Oxford way back near the start of conference play. Horrible!

BG was 12/25 shooting at the half and started the 2nd half going 0-6 while Miami built up a 12 point lead. Where was Clarke and Sealey? Holmes was in, had to be because our sleepy center had picked up his 3rd foul. Wow, the bad Jordon played both halves. BG ended up something like 7/28 in the 2nd half.
Twiggy said Miami denied the paint. No, BG couldn't make layups and the evil Crawford was off. He might not have had nearly as many turnover credited to him as he created.
Well, this train wreck is officially over. Praise God.

well, about that. I suppose hoping for an at large bid is a little bit of a reach...
