-No headshots of the freshmen.
-No identification of Lyshe as a scholarship player or walk-on.
-The appearence of a player named Jordan Myles, identifying him as a redshirt freshman gaurd from Napoleon. No other information (not even a blurb about high school stats) is given.
-Lists Henderson, going into his fourth year, as "plan(ning) to major in Sport Management." Apparently the decision has not yet been made.

Only a Louis Orr team can have a player (Myles?) sit on the bench, redshirt, and never has his name mentioned anywhere for 10 months.

You aren't going to have any head shots of any freshmen on any team until that team gets back on campus and has its picture/media event. None of the updated rosters for the upcoming seasons I looked at for any sports had headshots for freshmen. For either basketball team I wouldn't expect freshmen headshots until after the school year starts

Obviously, much has NOT been updated...Desmond Rorie is still mentioned as a "BGSU teammate". And, I could be wrong, but wouldn't seniors HAVE to have a major by now, not just "plans to" etc.?

Maybe the plan is to just wait until March and update the entire roster and new coaching staff all at once.

Wait so this guy walked on last year? LOLOLOLOLOL
Who is running this circus.
I feel like we are in a parallell universe where the Owner of the BG Falcons basketball team wants to move his squad to a warmer weather city and in the mean time is going to put as little into the team as possible. Are you trying to tell me Jesus can't hit a curve ball?

We need a player named Michael Jordan Chamberlain. He shoots like Jordan and rebounds like Chamberlain.

Yep, he sat on the bench all season long for each and every home game. Full warmup uniform and everything. BG Basketball is so boring even the people paid to care, don't care.

That has to partially be on the SID. I am certain these guys are overworked and underpaid but I find more information in here about BG basketball then the actual website.

Well the SID has to dig to get anything out of Orr. Why try? At what point do you give up trying to get info when the coach treats information like it is top secret CIA stuff, yet still doesn't know how to manage his timeouts. I still laugh thinking about how hush hush Orr was regarding Kraus' injury 2 years ago. Like any opponent would even mention him in a gameplan, other than to tell them to let him and Erger shoot. Calling it a circus is being polite.

Maybe we already signed 2 new guys to scholarships but it's just being kept on the down low. Did Andrew Wigguns sign yet!!!!????!!!!
Maybe the two players will come out in masks and be revealed the first game of the season like sic sic.

A good basketball coach of a real, honest to God, NCAA Division 1 basketball team probably makes sure his team's web site is as up to date as possible no matter what time of year it is.
You see, with kids these days, web sites can be an actual recruiting tool (no, I'm not kidding). And with coaches earning a couple hundred thousand dollars a year -- even the really bad ones -- I don't think it's too much to ask that they put forth at least that much effort during the off season.
Then again, I live in Columbus and am exposed to a real college basketball program on a daily basis. Hell, the news stations and paper down here even have actual basketball news stories IN THE SUMMER, if you can believe that.

Not that UT has a REAL program but a recent look at Coach K's site shows an interview with a guy who graduated and a feature bio on a senior-to-be walk-on who left the team a couple months ago.

It would also be nice to simply see our men's team receive as much coverage and features on the school website - as our own women's team does. Yes, we do have an actual women's program at BG which has been a complete 180 compared to the men's program over the last decade or so. But for several years it has been mor than evident how much more attention and effort has be made for the women's team over the men's. And before anyone misunderstands that comment as a complaint about the women's team getting the attention, it is not, it is a compliment. My point is why hasn't and isn't the same being done for the men's.
I, like many of you, am at the end of my rope with the men's team. The fact that the state of the program quite frankly - pisses me off - means that I still care (albeit barely anymore, which is sad considering how much I used to). But it would still be nice to have a bone thrown our way every now and again to at least gives us a false sense of hope of something to be excited about or to look forward to than what we've grown accustomed to seeing and getting. Like all the things you have seen done with the women's team over the years. As for the occasional video clip of Orr that we do get, half of them make me want to scream. I think what we've all seen unfold during the Orr era in terms of on-court performances and what comes out of Orr's mouth about his take on the state of our players, team and program now have me pretty much convinced he's delusional. For seven years we've seen a completely different picture unfold than the one Orr tries to paint. We're not blind, and it's become downright insulting to sit and listen to the figurehead of our program tell us we're seeing something different. We have a full-blown mess on our hands from an on-court performance standpoint. Period.
