$250 for a 4-pack of season tickets
Someone must be listening. 4 tickets x 15 games means just over $4 a ticket. Upper areas of the east from facing baseline to behind the hoop. Great view of the videoboard and close to the exit. For those on a budget this is a great deal.
Time to fill the Stroh and show we care about basketball in BG.

Is that deal only for the men's games? I might be willing to spend that for the women's games because, well, they actually win games.FalconTurf wrote:Someone must be listening. 4 tickets x 15 games means just over $4 a ticket. In fairness, it's a good sign from the administration. Don't balk at this because we're temporarily stuck with an unmotivated coach that won't deliver a competitive team. Presumably, this deal will be available next year when I would seriously consider purchasing it.

If the deal will be in place for the following season, when things may look brighter, then they may see some sales. However, they are probably running this special for this season, for men's only, to try and get some butts in the seat.BleedOrange wrote:footballguy51 wrote:Is that deal only for the men's games? Time to show coaching candidates that s fan base exists. If we can't sell tickets at $4 a game.............
You figure it out.

Not worth 4 bucks. Not sure free would even be a good deal.

I wouldn't take Men's BG basketball tickets (this season) if you paid me $250 - I'm not kidding.
Re: $250 for a 4-pack of season tickets
I renewed my season tix for some unknown reason. I'll still be there watching a crap product every game and wondering why the hell I wasted my money on it.
I'm a damned fool, but BG basketball is one of my favorite pasttimes of winter...I can't imagine NOT doing it.
Hopefully my patience will pay off next year and we can get some enthusiasm back into the program...I fully expect this season to be dismal. At least we do have a few exciting players to watch, even if I know the overall product will be s**t...

I wouldn't go that far, I would just take the 250 and not use any of the ticketsZuluWarrior wrote:I wouldn't take Men's BG basketball tickets (this season) if you paid me $250 - I'm not kidding.

Re: $250 for a 4-pack of season tickets
Year after year I have purchased my tickets only to regret it after Orr's teams buried us for all but what, one season? And that lone season was mostly with Dakich's players. After each debacle since then I declared I wouldn't buy them the next season, then I would budge off the stand I took during the offseason and pull out my credit card the following year. Those days are over. I refuse to pay to put myself through the frustration of this crap anymore. Until BG changes (starts winning, gets a coach who knows what the hell is going on, administration make men's basketball one of its top priorities and not let it exist as an afterthought anymore, etc), I won't be forking over anything anymore. I am still giving to football - and I want to be clear - I want BG to do well in basketball. But until then, I'm not paying into this crap anymore. The product and results produced over the last seven years or so is pathetic and I won't pay into it any longer.
GO BG!!!

If I was still living in my hometown yes. Don't love the Bearcats enough to make the almost 3 hour trip from Toledo for each home game. Hell I'd probably use it on BG hockey season ticketsbgsufalcon24 wrote:Taking the $250 and putting it toward UC tix eh Cincy?BGFalconfromCincy wrote:I wouldn't go that far, I would just take the 250 and not use any of the ticketsZuluWarrior wrote:I wouldn't take Men's BG basketball tickets (this season) if you paid me $250 - I'm not kidding.

Re: $250 for a 4-pack of season tickets
My wife spent 35 minutes at the ticket office the other day to buy 8 tickets. She is a patient person by nature but this really set her off. Why are they so gd slow and inefficient out there?
