Nice, I would love an overview like the one HammB gave. I have the radio feed on and am following the stats. 6-5 BG now. Black, Orr and Parker all with 2 pts.

Parker and Tisdale first off the bench.
Parker-->Black
Tisdale-->Henderson
That's our rotation I bet with Sealey once he is healthy.

15-5
Chauncey with 9 pts. If he is our 3rd leading scorer, he is efficient and smart enough that I don't have a problem with that. I would bet that Clarke leads us and Holmes is second.
Henderson back in for Orr
Black for Holmes.

Lyshe in for Clarke. I hope they give him more minutes and a schollie this year.

We seem to be pressing a ton. I am not sure we have the depth to do that this season.

I take that back if Lyshe is playing solid minutes and Denney is healthy you have 6 guys to run that and Holmes-Parker and Sealey are all athletes.

Shorting the ball pretty well. Granted it's against the equivalent of a good high school team, but still a good sign.

Mayleben no pt yet, I hope they don't redshirt him. We don't have the depth for that and this is a great game to get him some pt.

From the sounds of it a lineup of Holmes-Tisdale and Clarke with maybe Sealey and Parker would be about as athletic as anyone in the league.

Scoring 100 is always good. Some other stats of note.
I think most steals ever at BG in a game Clarke and Tisdale both with 6.
Josh Gomez had 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. That's encouraging. 1 point in 18 minutes is not.
Cam Black and Richaun Holmes were a combined 12-19. I hope they shoot more this season.
Holmes with 4 blocks. 3 Steals. 8 boards. 12 points. I hope we can be a good enough team that he can reach his potential.
Clarke 8 assists 1 turnover.
6 players in double figures. I bet we struggle at times to get 2.

Glad we won and always cool to see 100 points. Only thing to really take from the game is that it was probably the worst opponent we've ever brought in here. I do not see the point of playing single digit win teams from division 3!?
I guess it's fun to get a win but you really don't learn much. The defense was overall atrocious all first half. They missed more wide open shots than you'd ever imagine. We pressed constantly and the were beating it quite often only to pull back because they knew they couldn't score in the paint even if they had a 2 on 1. Fortunately for us when they weren't beating the press they were turning it over for easy layups and dunks.
Yet again I didn't see any semblance of a sustainable skillset. We beat a clearly inferior opponent by pressing and running on a group that was just outclassed athletically. I don't even see any signs that our staff would use these throwaway games to actually teach the team anything.
I have a feeling we're going to be in for a very rude awakening next Friday...

Earlham was bad. I mean really bad. So like hammb said we can't really get a clear picture of how we'll fare against a team like USF. I'm pumped for Friday though. I'm sure the place will be packed and we have a great opportunity. Bring on the Bulls!
