Real nice win for UT over an ACC team. Not an ACC powerhouse but still on the road against a team expected to finish in the middle of the pack in the ACC.

Nice win for the conference. Pretty amazing how far their program has come in a short time.

It's pretty simple anymore. At this level you gotta take chances on transfers. Lou didn't and he is toast.

Boston College was 0-2 coming into the game and has had 2 straight losing seasons.

We have had tons of success with transfers in the last ten years or so. 25% of our team should be transfers IMO.

Too many transfers is Dakich. Too few is Orr. Need to find something somewhere in between. However, when you don't even use all the scholarships available, does it matter anyway?

What baffles me is that there is this new thing in College basketball, or atleast this new movement where if you graduate you can transfer without giving up a year of eligibility. There was a whole list of these guys that I had posted before. Guys begging for an opportunity anywhere to get minutes and a Master's degree. I understand not wanting to invest long term in players, but this makes no sense. Grab two guys who are desperate to close out there college careers with PT.

Just shows how a program can turn around from total disaster (and UT was a total disaster) if it gets a decent coach.
Are you listening BG administration?
