EMU leading #21 UMass at halftime

EMU up 35-31 at the break. The MAC schedule won't begin for a few more weeks, but the MAC West appears it may have some teams that are much more competitive with the East than it's been in recent years. Toledo and the directional Michigan schools are looking pretty decent early on. With the format changes in the scheduling of East vs West teams this year (more than just one meeting against some of the cross-divisional teams), I think we'll see more parity once the conference schedules comes around.
